It’s time for our first Daily Dime Linkup! The rules are simple – take 10 photos from any day, write a blog post explaining them and linkup with us! You’ll find the linkup tool at the bottom…
I chose to document last Wednesday because I knew we would be out and about. Next month I plan to document a day at home. Let’s get started!
Bed hair! Little miss wakes up at 7:30. We snuggle in my bed for a few minutes until she wakes up. Normally I let her watch her shows on the iPad for 30-45 minutes before breakfast but we have places to be!
Breakfast. This is pretty self-explanatory. She eats her cereal just like her dad!
After I get Parker dressed and her hair done, she brushes her teeth while I get ready. Her pigtails still kill me!
9:15 and we’re out the door! Every time we leave the house she has to get her picture taken. She either stands by the tree, my car or sits on the stairs and says cheese until I take her picture. It’s cute until we’re late! Today I have a 10:45 doctor appointment and you may know that we live out in the sticks. It takes forever to drive anywhere.
We stop at our favorite coffee stand for tea. Parker gets a cold milk and calls it “tea.” I get my soy chai. I’m clearly very happy for caffeine and she is less than impressed! Her pigtails are already out. Her mullet game is strong these days! We set out on our hour+ drive to my OB. Parker watches YouTube while I drive. Don’t judge. It’s the only way to survive long car rides with her.
11 AM and waiting for the doctor. I explained in this post all about my appointment and everything that is happening with this pregnancy. Parker did great while we were at the doctor. She charmed everybody with smiles and kept calling the orange glucose drink juice.
Since she was such a trooper and I was starving, Mexican for lunch! Then a trip to Target for toilet paper ($100 later!) and we were back on the road. This was actually my last OB appointment with my current doctor and I will be moving to someone a little closer to home. It’s still a 40 minute drive but better than an hour! The doctor’s are all connected through Multicare so I am confident I will receive the same excellent care. Plus, they have access to all my previous tests, etc.
Parker sleeps all the way home.
By the time we get home in the afternoon it’s after 3. It also turned into a super muggy, 80 degree day. So we change our clothes and head outside to do our farm chores and play. We have to collect eggs and check the water tanks for the cows and donkey. While we are out there Luke gets home from work and comes to feed the cows. I water the garden while Parker plays with her daddy. We hang out outside until 5 and then head up to get our evening routine started. Since I already used up my 10 photos (that was too easy!) I’ll just explain the rest of the day. I cook dinner, we all sit down to eat, Luke gives Parker a shower while I clean the kitchen, we read books and clean up Parker’s room and then she’s off to bed by 7:15. After she’s in bed, Luke and I watch Netflix. I’m asleep by 9 #preggoproblems
