I mentioned in Monday’s post that PinkBlush is my favorite place to shop for maternity clothes. That’s where I found both the striped babydoll and blush cardigan. I didn’t order them to wear together but once I saw them together I thought it was the perfect combo for spring! I may actually wear this exact outfit the day we find out the gender (May 26th!). With my last pregnancy I swore I was having a boy and I turned out to be wrong. This time around I don’t have any inklings! As long as the baby is healthy and happy I’ll be fine either way. I know my husband is hoping for a boy. He could use a little blue, camo and roughhousing in our home full of pink, flowers and girly-ness!
Sorry, I got a little off track there! I paired the stripes and long cardi with my favorite maternity skinnies and new blush sandals from Steve Madden. I scored these last week at Marshalls and have been living in them.
What’s the one color or trend you said you’d never wear? Have you changed your ways? I used to always shy away from patterns too. I didn’t want the attention drawn to me, I suppose. Now I love florals and pretty patterns! I guess with age I’m learning to let go and wear what I love!
