What a crazy week full of doctors appointments and getting everything settled at work for my replacement! I am so ready for the weekend. How about you?
Today I am co-hosting this Coffee Date Linkup with the beautiful Jenna of Dearest Love. Since we can’t all meet up for an actual coffee date, a virtual coffee date is the next best thing! I do hope you all join in! I’m going to start by listing my highs and lows of the week. Then share yours by linking up or commenting below!
Highs for the week…
+ I don’t have pre-eclampsia! Yet, anyway. My doctor will continue to monitor me closely.
+ Luke and I purchased most of the items we still needed for Parker’s arrival. I feel 100% confident that if she decided to arrive early we would be set! Except the 100 loads of baby laundry I need to do!
+ The Seahawks are going to the Superbowl again! Two years in a row. The whole state is in a buzz about it. Luke made me promise not to go into labor on Superbowl Sunday! I will do my best to oblige.
+ I have big plans for this little blog in the next couple of months. I started a notebook of ideas and can’t wait to see where this takes me! Stay tuned next month for a series of maternity outfit posts (as long as my clothes continue to fit!)
Lows for the week…
+ I was put on medication to control the Gestational Diabetes. The first couple of days were rough. My blood sugars got really low causing me to feel sick, shaky and get a headache.
+ Even though I don’t have pre-eclampsia my blood pressure is still really high (150/89 on Tuesday). My doctor said if it went up to 160/90 they’d get Parker out right away. She didn’t give me any tips to reduce my blood pressure though so I’ve been stressing out! Does anybody have any tips?
Now it’s your turn!
